Fovegon Dual FOV Lens System

The Dual-FOV Fovegon lens system from Contrast Optical allows for simulataneous narrow and wide field-of-view imaging. This unique optical design is particularly suited to military applications because it removes the need for handoffs between sensor suites during tracking. The Contrast Fovegon lens system can be used in the visible, mid-wave, and far-infrared. The Fovegon lens system is custom designed to our customers depending on their magnification requirements.

* COMING SOON * 3D Stereo Projector

We are currently developing a 3D stereo projector, specifically for MRI use. Our proprietary optical system combines the light from two XGA projectors (1024x768) into a single beam that passes through a small 3-inch diameter hole in the MRI room wall. The projector produces a large, 8-inch diameter eyebox for easy viewing. When wearing 3D polarizing glasses and looking into our projector system, you see a 3D moving image with a full 30-degree FOV (equivalent to sitting 10 feet away from a giant 138” screen). The display optics and the polarizing glasses are all plastic, for complete safety inside the magnet room.
