Mike Tocci, Ph.D. and John Dunbar become full-time employees of CODE Inc. Over the past two years Mike and John have been doing double duty. They have been running CODE, Inc while keeping a seperate day job. No longer! CODE, Inc has suffcient work load and proposal backlog to allow for two full-time employees and three additional part-time employees. Our projects range from commercial lens design to energy-efficient solar solutions to novel opthalmalogic device design.

The Opto-Mechanical Sections of the website are currently being updated with examples. The first example, Design Considerations and Assembly Notes of a Fixed-Focus Sensor can be read in the Opto-Mechanical Services section of the website. Mike Tocci's fourth ZEMAX KB Article , "Quantifying Veiling Glare" was published on May 25th. Downloadable versions of all our articles can be found in the ELibrary.

On April 26th, Mike Tocci publishes his third article for the ZEMAX Knowledge Base titled "How to Model the Human Eye in ZEMAX".
CODE's new website is up and running. The new site now features some select examples of our work with ZEMAX. In the coming months we will update it with more examples of our work with SolidWorks and information on our Control Systems capabilities. We hope you like the new site and find it very informative. CODE is working with the local University to put together the first windows super-cluster specifically designed to run ZEMAX at extraordinary speeds. CODE will have access to this computing power once it arrives and will work with the University and community to bring optical design and analysis to the forefront in New Mexico.

CODE completed a final report for a proprietary customer that has a new and exciting contact lens shape. Mike Tocci used ZEMAX in new and novel ways to perform this detailed and complicated analysis. 2006 Highlights
